Frequently Asked Questions

Appointments?

Consultation is by appointment. Urgent cases will be seen on the day of request and will always be given priority. Appointments can be made by telephoning the practice, booking online or by visiting the practice in person. *Please notify reception well in advance (minimum 1hr prior) if you are unable to attend an appointment.  If more than one person from your family wishes to see the Doctor at the same time, please ensure a separate appointment is made for each family member.
Please phone the practice to book appointments or you can book online through Health Engine or our website
Longer consultations are available: please advise the reception staff if you require extra time.
 If you require an insurance medical, review of a complex health problem, counselling for emotional difficulties or a second opinion about someone else’s management, please book a longer appointment. This may involve a longer wait but your problem will get the attention it deserves. Please bring relevant letters and test results from other doctors.

After hours care?

In case of an Emergency Dial “000” Or Present to your Nearest Nannup Hospital.

Cancellation ?

There may be a cancellation fee if we do not receive notice of your cancellation.
We need 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel an appointment prior to midday or minimum of two hours notice for afternoon appointments.
If we receive late notice of your cancellation the fee may also apply. This enables us to reschedule the day for other patients.

Patients Feedback ?

We encourage any feedback that can help us to improve. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the services or if you feel your rights are not supported, we would appreciate your comments. Patients can fill the feedback forms at the reception. Call Reception to discuss any problems you may have. We also appreciate any compliments regarding our services.

Emergencies ?

If you have an emergency please telephone 000 or go to your nearest Emergency Department.

Fee Structure ?

Patients with a current Medicare card are bulk billed. Under some circumstances there may be some charges applicable such as for travel vaccine etc. Those who are requiring services that are not covered will be charged accordingly. Please speak to doctor or reception.

Medical Certificates ?

Medical certificates are available and can be requested at the time of consultation with your doctor. If you require a special consideration certificate, please bring the necessary paperwork to your consultation.

Privacy and confidentiality ?

We comply with Australian Government Legislation, ensuring that the privacy of our patients are maintained.
